Day Trips & Excursions 2017 from Blackpool and Cleveleys
New for 2017! We've put together a fun and exciting coach day trip and excursion program with lots of great places to visit, all a bit different to the same old destinations offered by other local coach companies. Please have a look through the trips on offer and give us a call or email us to book your seats. Early booking is advised as some have limited availability due to the number of entrance tickets released to us.
12 April Ordsall Hall & Lowry Shopping Outlet or Imperial War Museum North

After a leisurely drive to Salford we explore this stunning Grade 1 listed Tudor manor house and it's compact and beautiful landscaped gardens. We'll learn all about the house's fascinating history from our friendly & knowledgeable tour guide. Afterwards we drive the short distance to the Lowry Outlet Shopping Centre for the afternoon. The Imperial War Museum North (free entrance) is a short, level walk away if shopping doesn't appeal to you and there's plenty of time to look round.

15 April Liverpool Food, Drink & Lifestyle Spring Festival

Now in it's third year and located in Sefton Park the festival is going to be bigger than ever this year. Sweet & Savory stalls, drinks, arts & crafts, a "funtastical" area for children and even a Prosecco tent this is truly a fun-packed day that is sure to appeal to all tastes!

25 May Moorhouses Brewery "behind the scenes" tour and tasting

A highly enjoyable evening "behind the scenes" tour of this Burnley Brewery. Learn all about the process that makes Moorhouse's beers so great and sample the finished product. The tour includes four pints (or two bottles to take home in a gift box if you like) and a pie & pea supper

31 May Liverpool Beatles Tour

After a relaxing journey to Liverpool our driver will take you to Penny Lane, Strawberry Field & The Cavern Club - you'll get to see them all and a couple of surprises too plus we'll see the Fab 4's statue on Liverpool's waterfront by the Liver Building and you'll have time to have your photo taken with the iconic statue. Free time in the afternoon at Liverpool's famous waterfront.

2 July Leighton Hall Guided Tour and Vintage Car Show

A wonderful mix of over 400 beautifully presented classic cars set against the breath-taking backdrop of Leighton Hall. There are cars from different eras and a mix of manufacturers as well as clubs and sales stands. We also have a fascinating tour of the house included in the price. Bring a picnic or there is a small cafe and fast food available.

25 July Astley Green Colliery Tour & Ena Mill Retail Outlet

Join us for a unique visit to look at and learn about some of Lancashire's important coal mining history. We have an engaging guided tour around Lancashire's last remaining colliery - now a museum boasting the country's largest collection of colliery locomotives with knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand to answer your questions. There is also free time at the nearby Grade II listed Ena Mill Retail Outlet for a browse through the bargains and a spot of lunch.

26 July Brief Encounter at Carnforth

We visit Carnforth Station Heritage Centre and have a tour of the areas used in the iconic Noel Coward film Brief Encounter. Afterwards we travel the short distance to Greenlands Farm Artisan Village which has a wide variety of local foods, wines, arts & crafts available as well as a lovely cafe all set in beautifully restored and historic farm buildings.

28 July Greyhound Racing at Belle Vue, Manchester

You won't want to miss this fun, action-packed and exciting evening out at the famous Belle Vue Greyhound Racing Stadium near Manchester. Suitable for all ages this is a friendly evening out for families or groups of friends. 2 August Knowsley Safari Park

The best Safari Park in the North West! After a comfortable drive to the Safari Park there is some free time to stretch your legs and have a look at some of the wide variety of animals before we reboard the coach for the drive through the safari park where you get a really close-up view of the wild animals. Afterwards there is ample time to watch the entertaining sealion show and see their other animal friends.

11 August Quarry Bank Mill

Located close to Manchester Airport, Quarry Bank Mill is one of the best preserved textile mills of the Industrial Revolution and is now a fascinating museum of the cotton industry. It is an impressive Grade II listed building and was the inspiration behind the popular 2013 television series "The Mill". There is a very good quality cafe/restaurant on site and it is next to the River Bollin.

TBA August Lancaster Brewery Tour

A chance to see "behind the scenes" where the beer-making magic happens at the Lancaster Brewery. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and includes samples. There is plenty of free time in Lancaster where you can sample some of the beers at the any of the good pubs in the town or simply have a stroll around the shops.
